Santee Board adopts revisions to student technology, academic honesty, and foster youth policies

The Board adopted revised BP 6163.4 (Student Use of Technology), BP 5131.9 (Academic Honesty), and BP 6173.1 (Education for Foster Youth) at the Feb. 4 meeting; three additional policies were presented for first reading.
At its Feb. 4 meeting the Board completed second readings and adopted three revised board policies: BP 6163.4 (Student Use of Technology), BP 5131.9 (Academic Honesty), and BP 6173.1 (Education for Foster Youth). The adoptions were approved unanimously by a 5-0 vote.
Superintendent Dr. Kristin Baranski and board members noted there were also three first readings presented: BP 5148.2 (Before/After School Programs), BP 5148.3 (Preschool/Early Childhood Education), and BP 6170.1 (Transitional Kindergarten), which will return for future consideration.
