Santee Board appoints Matthew Hudson as Director of Facilities, effective Feb. 12

Superintendent Dr. Kristin Baranski recommended Matthew Hudson to fill the Director of Facilities, Maintenance & Operations vacancy, saying the district conducted an extensive search and that Hudson currently serves as Facilities Maintenance and Operations Manager at Ramona Unified. Baranski noted Hudson’s prior management roles at SeaWorld and the San Diego Zoo and recommended an effective start date of Feb. 12, 2025.
Member Dustin Burns moved approval and the Board unanimously approved the appointment 5-0. Hudson introduced his family at the meeting and expressed appreciation for the opportunity to join Santee School District.
