Brian Kost said heavy rain caused sediment and salt to wash into a Chippewa Hills HOA pond. He said the contractor and the project engineer have inspected the issue and that the contractor will provide a formal response and documentation. "The contractor is aware, and, they will continue... Doing whatever they can to correct what failures have been in the system," Kost said.
Kost also said fencing has been removed and poles are coming out ahead of milling; he has scheduled a third‑party inspector to be on site during milling and subbase inspection Thursday and noted the asphalt will need time to cure after placement. Staff discussed signage to keep the public off the courts during work and the need for photo documentation and sign‑in for any visitors doing their own testing.
