The Heritage Pines Community Development District on Dec. 10 adopted Resolution 2025‑01 to elect the board’s officers and remove a prior assistant secretary.
District Manager Chuck Adams presented the resolution; Mr. Walsh nominated the slate that named Kathleen Lonergan as Chair and Arthur Rhodes as Vice Chair and left other assistant secretary appointments in place. The Resolution removes Janice Benedetti as Assistant Secretary. "On MOTION by Mr. Walsh and seconded by Ms. Vaughan, with all in favor, Resolution 2025-01 ... was adopted," the record shows.
Why it matters: officer assignments determine who signs official documents and represents the CDD in administrative functions. The action was carried unanimously by the five supervisors present: Lonergan, Vaughan, Rhodes, Walsh and Putman. No dissent or abstentions were recorded.
What’s next: the board’s secretary and treasurer designations were listed as remaining unchanged in the resolution; the board did not propose additional personnel changes during the meeting.
