Superintendent outlines priorities; board enters executive session for collective bargaining

During the Superintendent’s Report, Mr. Wiktorko listed the district’s immediate priorities: the upcoming budget season with a "Held harmless" report due to Rockefeller Center by Dec. 25, regionalization, the teacher evaluation system, electrical vehicle mandates, mascot/logo discussion, capital project updates and sports/sports merger considerations. Assistant Superintendent Lara McAneny reviewed curriculum resources and technology and described a typical day for students in grades 7–12.
Following continued public comment on modified sports, the board voted to enter Executive Session at 6:50 p.m. for discussion of collective bargaining. The minutes state the Executive Session discussion will be made public as appropriate at future meetings. The board reconvened at 8:02 p.m. and adjourned at 8:03 p.m.
