Board approves consent agenda, including $501,887 General Fund bill schedule

The Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School District Board of Education approved its consent agenda at the regular meeting on Jan. 15, 2025, adopting routine items including minutes from Dec. 11, 2024, the Treasurer’s Report for December 2024 and the Superintendent’s transfers for January 2025.
The board also approved the January 2025 bill schedule. The schedule lists General Fund checks #54010–#54078 totaling $501,887.25; Capital Fund checks #10098–#10100 totaling $72,237.15; Federal Fund check #2525 totaling $1,363.48; and School Lunch Fund check #374 totaling $17,208.68. The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Board Member Melissa Maldonado and seconded by Heidi Schwartz; yes votes were recorded from Jean Jaeger, Loni Koument-Holdridge, Melissa Maldonado, Drew Shuster and Heidi Schwartz.
Board members recorded no absences for the vote. The board did not report any correspondence related to the consent items at the meeting.
