The Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School District Board of Education convened Aug. 14, 2024, and approved a consent agenda covering minutes, financial reports, personnel and multiple contracts. On a motion by Jean Jaeger and second by Heidi Schwarz the board approved items 1i through 2bx, with yes votes from Drew Shuster, Jean Jaeger, Loni Koument-Holdridge, Melissa Maldonado and Heidi Schwarz; no members were absent.
Among the items approved was a tax warrant for the 2024–2025 school year totaling $11,662,245.00, with collection scheduled to begin Sept. 1, 2024 and end Nov. 1, 2024. The consent package also recorded bill schedule totals and capital fund disbursements, and authorized a series of transfers and contract awards noted elsewhere on the agenda.
