District reduces some private contracted SPED services while adding in-house SPED staff

The district projects net actual contracted-services spending closer to $4.5 million after factoring carryovers and consolidations.
Board members requested line-item detail to understand which provider contracts were affected and how reductions align with student-service needs; the director committed to return with specific contract details and accounting for carryover purchase orders.
