Colin Mori, an incoming junior at Green Hill High School and member of Troop 263, presented an Eagle Scout project to build a four‑section monkey‑bar system on the hill behind the school's greenhouses. The project includes an incline section, a side‑hold section, a rope‑and‑board challenge area and rotating monkey bars intended for use by ROTC and other students.
Board members praised the proposal and encouraged community support. “Thank you so much for caring about your community and leaving a lasting impact,” the chair said, and the board voted to approve the project unanimously, 5–0. Colin said he will send an invitation when construction is complete.
