The Chair and board reviewed the conditional-use ordinance standards (traffic sight distance, stormwater, sanitary provisions, noise/hours and buffering) and concluded that, subject to routine documentation, the application meets the criteria needed to proceed to public notice. The board set a public hearing for April 14 (start ~06:30 p.m.) and advised the applicant to appear before the Select Board for the liquor-license review as that is processed separately. Christopher said the target reopening date is May 1 and noted the company’s experience operating similar restaurants; he also provided contact information and committed to supplying any outstanding paperwork (dumpster/grease contracts) before the hearing.
The board did not take a final approval at this meeting; it scheduled the public hearing to collect neighborhood input and to confirm any outstanding documentation before a final decision.
