For math and science, presenters attributed some variation to test redesigns and to placement of accelerated students on higher‑grade assessments. Social studies remained a lower‑performing subject districtwide; presenters said they are using Lead Forward resources and other strategies to strengthen instruction. Trustees and administrators discussed using students' actual ECR responses for targeted instruction and interventions and expanding elementary science monitoring.
