WAJ board rescinds one extracurricular appointment, approves coaches and club advisors

On the recommendation of Superintendent John Wiktorko, the Windham-Ashland-Jewett Board of Education rescinded the prior appointment of Catherine Aplin as Co-Advisor of the Volleyball Club for the 2024–2025 school year and approved a group of extracurricular appointments pending appropriate clearance.
Appointments approved included Lee Rappleyea as Boys Varsity Baseball Coach; Anthony Pettigano and Anthony Savasta as Boys Modified Baseball co-coaches; Megan Wilkey-Ashline as Volleyball Club co-advisor; Catherine Aplin (as a Volunteer Sports Club leader); and Joel Middleton and AJ Savasta as Girls Modified Softball co-coaches. The board also approved additions to substitute and extracurricular rosters.
