The Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School District Board of Education voted April 22 to adopt the 2025-2026 budget in the amount of $15,266,476, the minutes show. The budget adoption was included among consent-agenda items approved on a motion by Loni Koument-Holdridge and seconded by Melissa Maldonado; the recorded yes votes were Koument-Holdridge, Board President Drew Shuster and Maldonado while Jean Jaeger and Heidi Schwarz were absent.
Board members approved the Property Tax Report Card for the 2025-2026 school year at the same meeting. The board also recorded the upcoming public budget hearing on May 13 at 6:00 p.m. and the annual budget vote scheduled for May 20 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
