Board flags revegetation noncompliance on several growth permits, including Shapleigh parcel

The planning board signed routine growth permits and reviewed submitted photos for completed projects. Staff and board members noted that photographs for a project by Tom Pitts show the work done but still no vegetation on the site despite a revegetation deadline of June 15, 2026.
"We did get photos, but there's still no vegetation," the Chair said while reviewing the submission. Board members discussed that the submitted photos do not show the plantings required by the approved revegetation plan and classified the project as noncompliant. The board directed staff to follow up with the property owner, request the specific plant list and quantities referenced in the minutes and, if necessary, issue a zoning violation notice if the revegetation is not completed within a new timeframe.
The board also processed a seasonal conversion growth permit and signed routine documents on the record. For the noncompliant site the board asked staff to provide clearer guidance on the exact planting requirements and to forward the template conditions previously used to reduce confusion for applicants.
