Principals report STAAR gains; pre-K registration at 23 students

At the June 22 meeting Principal Amy Huseman reported on STAAR test results for the elementary campus, noted an upcoming Pre-K camp, and said 23 students are registered for pre-K for the 2026–27 school year.
Principal Luke Nichols provided the junior/high school report and stated that all campuses exceeded the region on STAAR. The minutes do not include individual campus scores, percentages or trend comparisons; the statements are recorded as summary reports to the board.
The athletic director, Bradan Ritchey, was noted as absent and provided no report. Superintendent Jon Hartgraves gave a brief facilities update later in the meeting regarding repairs to the football field ticket booth and visitor parking cables.
