Both Bartlett ISD principals updated the board on enrollment, attendance and testing at the Dec. 9 meeting. Secondary Principal Dr. Bryan Hernandez reported secondary enrollment of 212 and that average daily attendance (ADA) rose from 92.43% in November to 95.24% in December; he also noted TTESS evaluations beginning Dec. 9, EOC STAAR retesting and midyear CBA exams on Dec. 16–17.
Elementary Principal Lacey Cruddas reported elementary enrollment at 187 and ADA rising from 93.30% in November to 95.40% for December, cited UIL competition results (4th place overall), and said classroom walkthroughs and coaching work are ongoing. The secondary principal also noted a FAFSA Family Night scheduled for Dec. 10 and that the counselor, Mrs. Guerrero, has returned and is meeting with seniors regarding graduation transcripts.
Both reports were provided as information items and no board action was taken on the principals’ updates at the meeting.
