Separately, trustees granted the superintendent authority to purchase a new small activity bus exceeding $25,000 but under $140,000 through a purchasing cooperative contingent on the district’s insurer determining the accident-involved bus is totaled; any funding difference beyond insurance reimbursement will come from the district’s designated vehicle fund balance. The motion passed unanimously.
