Board approves Bowman proposal to replace district monuments and neighborhood signage

Eric Long presented the Bowman Consulting Group proposal to provide landscape architecture services for a Pelican Sound Master Signage Program, including replacement of monuments across the CDD and neighborhood monument design and permitting. He said some monuments are foam and some are stone, and that placement of the Southern Hills monument will need to change.
The Board voted to approve the Bowman proposal, and staff noted the neighborhood monument replacement costs will be charged to Pelican Sound replacement reserves and that some monuments will be relocated. Mr. Krebs asked that sign text be corrected (Southern Hills Drive, not Southern Hills Court) and requested follow-up on rusted lake and wetland signs.
