Forest County commissioners approve routine minutes, bills and several transfers

The Forest County Board of Commissioners met Sept. 17, 2025. Commissioners Mark Kingston, Patrick Kline and Robert Snyder, Jr. approved the meeting minutes from Sept. 3, 2025 and voted unanimously to pay listed payroll and bills, including General Fund payroll of $53,731.40 and General Fund bills of $20,797.40.
The board approved several transfers and disbursements: an August Tax Claim Bureau distribution allocating $41,336.96 to Forest County and $44,052.81 to Forest Area School District; opioid-account checks totaling $36,704.25 for media, rent, recovery support and electrical work; a $630.40 transfer from the Veterans Transportation Account for August veteran trips and copays; and a $12,500.00 transfer from the Operating PLGIT Account to the General Fund to reimburse staff bonus checks. All listed motions carried unanimously.
