As a result, the district is not required to provide transportation or make in‑lieu payments to that private school for the route unless major road changes or other conditions later alter the timing.
Board members asked how the process works (initial district test, parental challenge, then state run) and the superintendent explained the state’s determination is final for that timing unless the route changes substantially. The resolution passed on a 5–0 roll call.
