The board approved the consent agenda that included certified and classified personnel recommendations, supplemental appointments and the check register. After the roll call the motion passed 5–0.
Principals and administrators introduced new hires who will begin next school year. K–2 principal Colleen Toth introduced Megan McCoo (kindergarten), Amanda Chalky (1st grade) and Jana Lipchak (previously a student teacher). Toth also introduced Rebecca (new K–5 counselor) and noted the candidate sits on the Ohio School Counselors Association board.
Other principals introduced hires at intermediate and middle schools — including Cameron Nelson and Samantha McGonigal — and at the high school, where Gianna Huber, Mikayla Ptak and Ellie Radebaugh were named. The superintendent and board members thanked applicants and administrators for a competitive hiring process and welcomed the new staff.
