Finance Director Daniel Carbajal presented the proposed FY26 Q3 budget adjustments and told council staff would have more precise expense estimates, including VRECC figures, by the end of the month. Carbajal described a $3.2 million line as effectively a wash with a modest reserve: when asked whether the $3.2 million "will be a wash," Carbajal said "basically yes." He also reported the city received an EMS grant award of $78,200.
Councilor Steven L. Holdman moved to approve the resolution; Councilor Tracy Armijo seconded and the council adopted the adjustments in a unanimous roll-call vote. Carbajal said he will circulate budget workshop dates to the council the following week.
