Planning Technician Alexis Kline told the council the rezoning continues the current pattern around the parcel and that there were no changes from the January subdivision workshop: "no." The council opened the hearing for public comment; no members of the public spoke. Councilor Steven L. Holdman moved to approve the ordinance; Councilor Frank F. Ortega seconded and a roll-call vote recorded all four councilors as "Yes."
The change allows the property to be developed under the same single-family parameters as nearby lots. The council did not record further conditions on the annexation at the meeting and took the ordinance motion to immediate vote.
