Superintendent highlights Visionary Conference, Day at the Capitol and Grow Your Own participants

Superintendent Theodore Clevenger told trustees Bartlett ISD will participate in the Visionary Conference Feb. 21'23 and will host a Day at the Capitol in the second week of February to speak with legislators. "Bartlett ISD has 3 participants in the Grow Your Own Program, one of which has already graduated with an Associates degree," Clevenger reported.
Clevenger said he has been nominated to chair the Economic Development Board for the Central Texas Council of Governments and has been asked to serve as a field supervisor for Region 13's Superintendency Program. He also said district staff will consult with the Temple Home Builders' Association about interest in affordable housing and that the district plans to use a water tower on district property for a fire suppression system rather than tying a new pipeline into the city's system.
