The Forest County commissioners voted unanimously Oct. 15 to direct several disbursements from the Tax Claim Bureau.
The record shows the September distribution will send $12,762.86 to Forest County, $18,149.43 to Forest Area School District and $1,704.76 to municipalities. The board also approved allocations of tax-sale overages: the 2020 overage will send $5,754.01 to Forest County, $14,939.44 to the Forest Area School District and $921.77 to municipalities; the 2019 overage will send $5,668.45 to Forest County, $14,270.11 to the school district and $970.52 to municipalities. Each motion was made and seconded by commissioners and carried unanimously.
Commissioner Patrick F. Kline moved the September distribution; Commissioner Robert J. Snyder, Jr. seconded earlier and later motions associated with the overages. The allocations are recorded in the meeting minutes as fixed dollar amounts; no further discussion or dissent is recorded.
