The board entered executive session at 6:39 P.M., adjourned the closed session at 8:16 P.M., and reconvened the regular meeting at 8:19 P.M. to consider potential action related to the superintendent search; the board took no action naming a finalist.
Meeting minutes record that, following further vetting, the board removed all remaining candidates from consideration. The minutes state the board had planned to name a lone finalist that evening but determined during the final vetting process that none of the remaining candidates were the right fit. The board also announced it will hold a special meeting on May 14, 2026 at 5:00 P.M. to name an interim superintendent. Having no further business, Trustee John Holley moved to adjourn; Trustee Veronica Yost seconded, and the board adjourned at 8:21 P.M.
