The Hutto Independent School District Board of Trustees approved a slate of personnel actions on May 14, offering appointment contracts for principal positions and voting to approve teacher contracts. The board moved and approved the superintendent’s recommendations for multiple leadership hires, with the chair announcing the motions passed.
Among the personnel actions, the board approved an offer to Dr. Megan Coronado for principal of High School No. 2, an assignment for Bridgette Arndt to the early college principal role, an employment contract for Karl Stewart as principal at Cottonwood Creek Elementary and an appointment for Dr. Natalie Preever to Farley Middle School. The board also voted to approve the teacher contracts presented by administration.
“We will immediately adjourn to closed session…” the board began the evening with routine procedural steps before returning to open session and taking the personnel votes. The motions were moved, seconded and the chair announced that each motion passed with the board’s recorded affirmation. These personnel approvals followed the district’s hiring procedures and were presented as the superintendent’s recommendations.
