The Bells ISD Board of Trustees reorganized leadership at its May 11 regular meeting. Stephanie Nettles was sworn in as a trustee; E.T. Pettit was absent and will be sworn at the June meeting. In nominations, Dava Washburn was elected board president (6-0), Matt Stephens was elected vice president (6-0), and Lonnie Carter was elected secretary (6-0).
The reorganization occurred early on the agenda after the pledge and invocation. The board recorded attendance and proceeded directly to the consensus agenda following the officer elections.
