The Beaumont ISD Board opened a public hearing on the Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) during its March 19 meeting. The minutes state the TAPR includes the district's final accountability report, PEIMS financial standard reports, accreditation and special education determinations, campus performance objectives progress, a report on violent or criminal incidents, and information supplied by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board for each high school campus. The minutes say the full TAPR will be posted on the district website on April 2, 2026 and paper copies will be available on request.
Superintendent Dr. Shannon Allen allowed the TAPR to serve as her report and reminded parents and the public that STAAR assessments begin in 16 instructional days, urging families to make use of available supports. The minutes do not record additional public testimony on the TAPR; they note there were no public comments specifically on the TAPR item.
