Following two votes on city business, Councilor Sierra Yazzie Asamoa-Tutu moved and Councilor Linda Garcia seconded that the council adjourn into closed session to discuss matters covered by attorney-client privilege related to threatened or pending litigation and to discuss the acquisition of real property. The motion cited NMSA 1978 Section 10-15-1-(H)(7) and (8).
On roll call, Councilors Yazzie, Garcia, Molina and Mayor Marc DePauli voted yes and the motion carried. The minutes record the council's decision to convene in closed session immediately after the meeting's open-business items.
