Forest County commissioners approve payroll, bills and department purchases; agree to share Taser training cost

The minutes record General Fund Payroll of $57,844.04 and General Fund Bills of $129,506.25; Transportation Payroll $16,187.07 and Transportation Bills $3,881.25; and Children & Youth Payroll $12,801.34 and Bills $1,121.20. Commissioner Patrick F. Kline moved to approve the bills; Commissioner Robert J. Snyder Jr. seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
During the Department Requests item, commissioners approved several small purchases (office supplies $278.94; cleaning gloves $29.24; two Emerson thermostats $57.90). The board also approved splitting the cost of a Taser Instructor School for part‑time Deputy Brandon Heller, agreeing Forest County's 50% share of $447.50; Sheriff William Carbaugh's request was granted and the motion carried unanimously.
