Commissioners hear Phase I review of Strategic Management Planning Program

Ben Kafferlin of Kafferlin Strategies presented a review of Phase I of the county's Strategic Management Planning Program, outlining the community profile, financial conditions assessment and fiscal trend analysis and telling the board the full presentation will be distributed to department heads and is available upon request. Chelsea Puff and Seth Higgins (Kafferlin Strategies) and Mary Ammann of the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED) participated via Zoom.
The report was introduced under Visitor Recognition and will be circulated to county department heads next week, the minutes state. No formal action was taken; commissioners indicated they would review the summary and consult with staff about next steps for the STMP grant deliverables.
