The board approved the Capital Engineering agreement on a 5-0 voice vote after a motion, with staff noting the selected proposal was the most cost‑effective of several bids.
Board members asked whether acceptance testing could be done by district or subcontractor staff and were told certification requirements limited options and that other bids were considerably higher. The motion passed and staff will proceed with the contracted commissioning tasks as the project continues.
