Separately, the board approved a memorandum of understanding with East Texas A&M University for the Educator Preparation Program and a Tarleton dual-credit MOU. The board also approved an interlocal agreement with the University of Texas for cybersecurity monitoring services.
All higher-education and interlocal agreements on the agenda were approved by recorded votes of 7–0, either as part of the consent agenda or as individual action items. The minutes do not include the text of each MOU or the specific program terms; district administrators are responsible for implementing the partnerships and any program enrollments or services that follow.
