Following executive session, the Blanco ISD Board approved several personnel actions. On a motion by Kathy Kersten, seconded by Aaron Lux, the board approved employment of Lisa Obst (Elementary Art), Kyle Vineyard (Teacher/Coach), Lindsay Vineyard (Health Science), Tandy Gates (Kindergarten), Baleigh Payne (2nd Grade), and Kaylen Moffitt (Kindergarten); the motion passed unanimously.
The board also accepted resignations from Greg White (3rd Grade), Jordan Leverett (Middle School Principal), Shawna Huther (Elementary Music), and Peggy Keeton (Kindergarten) on a motion by Kathy Kersten, seconded by Erika Sykes. The acceptance of the principal’s resignation signals a forthcoming administrative staffing need; the board did not specify a timeline or interim assignment in the minutes.
