The Ben Bolt-Palito Blanco Independent School District Board of Trustees held a budget workshop on Aug. 3, 2026, at Ben Bolt - Palito Blanco High School. Presenter Amanda Asevedo provided preliminary budget numbers and told the board the figures remain subject to change "while awaiting the tax rate." The board scheduled a meeting to adopt the budget for Aug. 26, 2026.
During her presentation Mrs. Joslin reported a 96% attendance rate and an enrollment of 415 students. Trustees were given the preliminary figures for review; no formal budget adoption occurred at this meeting. The workshop emphasized that final budget totals will depend on the certified tax rate and subsequent calculations by district staff.
