OBI demolition and parking work delayed; move-in access set for July 20–24

Dr. Coopersmith provided an update on capital projects, reporting that demolition for O'Bryant Intermediate (OBI) is under way but that reconstruction of the OBP parking lot and road will be delayed until Fall 2026 because of an AT&T system located in the planned reconstruction area and additional abatement work required for full demolition.
He also flagged weather-related delays affecting work at the Bellville High School student parking lot. The minutes record access for move into OBI is scheduled for the week of July 20–24, and TESCO furniture deliveries across all campuses are scheduled July 20–31.
