The Airport Advisory Committee on July 7 introduced two candidates for membership: Jeremy Cooper, a six‑year Eastport resident and U.S. Air Force retiree who has worked in flight‑line operations and helped sponsor Community Day, and Greg Jordan, who owns a downtown Eastport gallery, works in real estate and serves on the Port Authority board. Victoria Ganz told the committee she is resigning from her committee seat because she is now acting Airport Manager.
Chair Chris Krohn said he will consult with Brian about the formal process for adding new members. When the committee debated electing a new vice‑chair, Secretary Ron Rosenfeld moved “to table until next meeting,” a motion John Foster seconded; the motion passed unanimously. Billy Boone, the City Council representative, clarified that the committee elects its own chair and vice‑chair.
