Beckville ISD administrators report enrollment growth and readiness ahead of school start

District administrators gave brief back-to-school reports at the Aug. 11 board meeting. Loretta Blair presented data on growth at the elementary and junior high levels and shared a presentation from Kristen Pardon of Region 7. Kin Bryan said he expected high-school registration to be around 202 students, noted athletics were active and that band enrollment was about 62, and praised custodial work over the summer.
Bryan Stagner said sixth-grade orientations and ELA teacher training on the Amplify curriculum were underway. Emily Wood encouraged families to attend Meet the Teacher at 4:30 p.m. the next day, and Cody Ross reported that football, volleyball and cross country were in progress and that summer hires were completed early. The administrators expressed general readiness and enthusiasm for the start of the school year.
