Beckville ISD extends depository contract with Panola National for two years

Trustees voted unanimously on Aug. 11 to extend the district's depository contract with Vera (Panola National) for a two-year period beginning Sept. 1, 2025, and ending Aug. 31, 2027. Superintendent Devin Tate said the district must renew the contract every two years and recommended continuing the long-term relationship with the bank.
Clint Jones moved to approve the resolution, Katie Jo Davis seconded, and the board carried the motion with no opposition. Tate noted the board may extend this arrangement up to three times under the agreement's terms.
