Board approves consent items and investment report, accepts resignation of Andee Poteet

The Beckville ISD Board of Trustees approved the consent agenda — including minutes from the June 9, 2025 meeting and accounts payable — on a motion by Clint Jones, seconded by Patrick Harris; the vote was unanimous. Trustees also approved the Quarterly Investment Report after Superintendent Devin Tate reported no change in investments (motion by Justin Davis, seconded by Patrick Harris; unanimous vote).
Following a second executive session beginning at 8:15 p.m., trustees reconvened at 9:00 p.m. and approved the resignation of Andee Poteet on a motion by Tim Jones, seconded by Justin Davis; the vote carried unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 9:02 p.m. on a motion by Clint Jones, seconded by Justin Davis.
