The Beckville ISD Board of Trustees accepted multiple vendor bids for services and consumables for the 2025–26 school year during its July 14 meeting. The board accepted the lawn care bid from Kirk Weaver Contract Pumping (the district's incumbent provider), awarded pest control to Select Pest Control, approved milk products from Hiland, approved bread products from Flowers Bread and BIMBO Bakeries, and accepted a fuel bid from Velvin Oil. The motions were made and seconded as recorded in the minutes, and all votes carried unanimously.
Superintendent Devin Tate said bids were opened the morning of July 14 and the board discussed recommendations before voting. The record lists two lawn care bidders — Total Lawn Care (Kooter Romero) and Kirk Weaver Contract Pumping (Kirk Weaver) — and shows the district elected to continue with Kirk Weaver. No contract dollar amounts or multi-year terms were recorded in the meeting minutes.
