The Barbers Hill ISD Board approved its consent agenda on a motion by Benny May that passed 7–0. The consent agenda included approval of prior minutes (April 27 regular meeting and May 11 election canvass), an Interlocal Agreement with Harris County Department of Education for the ABS East Summer School Program (June 10–July 9, 2026), renewal of a Specialized Assessment and Consulting professional services agreement (Aug. 1, 2026–July 31, 2027), and the April 2026 financial report.
The board also accepted conditional cash donations recorded in the agenda materials: Midway USA Foundation ($2,699) for the shooting team; United Clearing Services ($1,500) as a scholarship for the high school Spanish Club; Targa Resources ($10,280) to complete a STEM bus; and a $50,000 donation from the Barbers Hill Athletic Booster Club to support athletics. The materials note conditional donations require board approval per policy CDC (Local).
The motion to approve the consent agenda was recorded as passing 7–0.
