Care ATC representatives presented the company’s experience operating employer‑sponsored on‑site primary care and pharmacy services after the board approved entering contract negotiations. The presenter described a track record of more than 25 years operating clinics for public‑sector clients and said Care ATC manages clinics in multiple states and municipalities.
"We exist to take the frustration out of healthcare administration," a Care ATC representative said while outlining services the vendor would provide. The presentation emphasized targeted outreach, early identification and prevention of chronic disease, integration of an on‑site pharmacy, occupational health capabilities, and a patient mobile app for scheduling, provider messaging and personalized PHA (personal health assessment) results.
Trustees asked operational questions about staffing levels and contract structure; Care ATC said its typical model for an operation of this size uses two providers supported by medical assistants, receptionists and clinic management staff, and indicated pharmacy staffing of approximately 1.5 pharmacists and two pharmacy technicians in the model discussed with district staff. The vendor also described a cultural audit and a multi‑step implementation cadence involving district leadership and clinic operations staff.
