During the meeting the board approved the consent agenda, which included the April 2026 Financial Report, Investment Report, a tax levy adjustment from the Montague County Tax Appraisal District and donations. Later the board approved a $290,000 budget amendment "as presented," with recorded votes 7–0 for both actions. Superintendent Dr. Donna Hall provided district updates including total enrollment of 1,443 students and an attendance rate of 95.27%.
