At its June 23 meeting the Borger ISD Board of Trustees approved a set of instructional technology and resource purchases intended for classroom use and student support. The recorded actions included approval of a Chromebook purchase and renewals or purchases for Eduphoria, Imagine Learning (BHS Edgenuity recovery courseware), Bluebonnet Learning materials, an IXL site license and iCEV Multimedia content.
Each item was presented as a separate motion and passed by recorded vote of 6–0 with Trustee Devon Thompson absent. The purchases and renewals were framed as routine procurement of instructional resources; the minutes do not list contract amounts or line-item budget references for these items.
Board members who moved and seconded the motions included Eric Schneck, Keegan Neill, Cyndee Hickman and Robert Bradley. Trustees did not attach conditions or amendments to the approvals in the minutes; staff were authorized to finalize procurement in accordance with district purchasing rules.
