Bland ISD approves teacher appraisers and appraisal calendar for 2026–2027
Summary

Trustee Trent Poe moved to approve the recommended teacher appraisers for the 2026–2027 school year, naming principals of Bland Elementary, Bland Middle and Bland High, assistant principals for Bland Elementary and Bland Middle, and listing the superintendent, assistant superintendent and curriculum director as support/back-up appraisers; Kendal Wright seconded the motion and the board approved it unanimously.
Board member Cody Welborn moved to approve the Teacher Appraisal Calendar for 2026–2027, seconded by Jeff Striplin; the motion passed by unanimous vote. The approved appraisers and calendar set the district's evaluation framework for the coming school year.
