Fort Lee Parking Authority says users will pay for electricity after EV charger upgrades at Guntzer Garage

The Fort Lee Parking Authority on Oct. 7 adopted Resolution 2025-56 directing that, upon installation and activation of upgraded electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at the Guntzer Garage, users will be charged for electric usage. The resolution tasks the Executive Director and staff with coordinating vendors, establishing payment systems, and publishing the fee schedule once charges are implemented.
The resolution says fees "shall be established based on electricity consumption, operational costs, and market standards" and that the fee structure may be adjusted by future resolution. The motion to adopt was made by Michael Raskin, seconded by Patricia Rumi, and recorded as approved unanimously.
