Chairperson Jeff Zettel and board member Stacy Plude reported meeting on-site with Master Electric about a proposed park sound system but found the contractor's bid incomplete. Zettel said the pole "doesn’t need to be 24 feet, maybe 16 ft," and the board discussed installing a 16-foot metal pole with a 4-foot arm and how power would be routed to the unit.
Plude said she spoke with Craig Taunt about power at the garden and was asked to contact Adams Electric for further information; Joe Myers asked Plude specifically to reach out to Adams Electric about doing the pole and electrical work. Board members agreed they need formal quotes and specification sheets before moving forward and discussed the possibility of the Department of Public Works (DPW) performing the physical installation.
