Brenham ISD foundation reports food-drive totals, distribution to local pantries

He praised student and volunteer participation and thanked local media and businesses for promotion. "The students are doing a great, great job here, and we can't emphasize that enough," Perota said.
Perota closed by asking trustees to save the date for next year's event: the first Wednesday after Thanksgiving (he cited Wednesday, 12/02/2026).
